You have the right to apply for payment assistance free of charge. Suspension or disconnection is a last resort where hardship support is appropriate.

What is financial hardship?

Financial hardship is a situation where you cannot meet payment obligations but expect to do so if a suitable assistance arrangement is made. It may result from illness, unemployment, reduced income, domestic or family violence, bereavement, natural disaster or another unexpected change.

Support we may offer

  • A payment plan tailored to your ability to pay.
  • A temporary extension, postponement or deferral.
  • A credit, adjustment or discount where appropriate.
  • Moving to a more suitable plan or removing non-essential features.
  • Controls or restrictions that limit additional charges while maintaining appropriate connectivity.
